FAQS:

What is the workshop schedule? (continued)

The final evening of the workshop will include a relaxed party at the hotel.

On the morning of the final day we will be packing up our paintings, preparing them for transportation and then we shall enjoy our final lunch together in the hotel. Don't worry if you have to leave first thing, our assistant team will be available to help you. If you have enjoyed yourself and would like to further your painting experience with us then join us after Agay in our Parisian Atelier for a week of cityscape and portraiture classes. For more information please contact us.

What will be covered in the tuition?

The workshops are structured around the changing sunlight on the landscapes around Agay. The workshop is divided into two different painting approaches for the mornings and afternoons. The morning painting session will be based on one 40 x 50 cm or 50 x 65 cm painting which the students will develop throughout the week; this will give the students a chance to truly study the effect of the morning light on landscape with consistency. In the afternoon they will paint a 30 x 40 cm seascape painting, which they have to finish before the evening.

What can I do in my free time?

You will have free time on the day of your arrival in Agay and between your morning and afternoon painting sessions which you are free to spend as you wish. You can relax at the hotel where there are tennis courts or go for a walk in the nearby botanical gardens. If you would like to hire a mountain bike to explore the National park which has stunning bike routes, there is a rental shop in the town centre.
